Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager with a strong background in commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at client communication, and is skilled in managing multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-end office, retail, medical, or mixed-use TI projects and a solid understanding of permitting processes, local codes, and subcontractor networks across Orange County and Los Angeles County.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day project operations from planning to final delivery for multiple commercial TI projects
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project milestones are met
Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists
Oversee permitting and inspections with local jurisdictions (OC/LA Counties)
Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards on job sites
Lead project meetings, site walks, and regular client updates
Collaborate closely with internal teams to manage procurement, documentation, and closeout
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial tenant improvement projects
Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and trades specific to TI work
Proven ability to manage multiple fast-track projects and tight schedules
Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and jurisdictional requirements in Orange and Los Angeles Counties
Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
OSHA 30 certification is a plus
