Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from planning to implementation.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage construction projects from concept to completion.
- Review and approve project designs and plans.
- Manage project budget, including purchasing of materials and services.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Solve complex problems including worker safety, project risks and project quality.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Manage project changes and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
- Proven experience with sheet metal, construction, and design workflow.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
