Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from planning to implementation.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage construction projects from concept to completion.
  • Review and approve project designs and plans.
  • Manage project budget, including purchasing of materials and services.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Solve complex problems including worker safety, project risks and project quality.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage project changes and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.

Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with sheet metal, construction, and design workflow.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
