We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager for our Construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization in the construction industry. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects, from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a particular focus on ground up tilt up, ground up, and commercial construction projects. They will also have a proven track record in managing big box retail construction projects. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
5. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
6. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
7. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
8. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
9. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
10. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on ground up tilt up, ground up, and commercial construction projects.
3. Proven experience in managing big box retail construction projects.
4. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
6. Familiarity with construction management software packages.
7. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
8. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
9. Excellent time and project management skills.
10. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
11. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
12. Proven experience in strategic planning and risk management.
13. Demonstrated skills in contract negotiation and management.
14. Proficiency in quality control, budgeting, and other financial aspects of construction project management.
