Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Responsible for providing oversight and direct day-to-day management for assigned projects, team, contractors, and consultants
- Interface professionally with clients as a representative of the company
- Ensure project completed in accordance with contract documents, within project durations, and within budget
- Provide leadership to a team and ensure positive outcomes and results
- Must be an effective written and verbal communicator
- Proficient with relevant computer technology and software
- Must be able to manage and supervise others
- Create, review, and manage project budgets, cost projections, profit/loss
- Multi-task numerous projects at a single time in varying stages of construction
- Work with time constraints and complete deliverables on time
- Prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
- Recognize and apply lessons learned as it relates to bidding, projects, and management
- Comprehend solicitations and SOWs to organize/perform/assign work with minimum supervision
- Learn and evolve new methods and systems
- Reports to and receives instruction from the Director of Construction
- Interfaces with all staff, project personnel, corporate administrative support staff, executive personnel, customers, vendors and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- General working knowledge of federal regulatory contracting processes, practices, requirements, guidelines, and laws regarding construction
- Generate, monitor, and complete all project tasks and subcontractor compliance to contractual requirements to meet or exceed project
- Strong familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1, 10 CFR 835, OSHA 1910.120 and other applicable regulatory and safety guidelines typically utilized within
- Bachelor's degree In Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similar preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Familiar with construction projects within USACE or NAVFAC
