3. Managing contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
4. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
5. Monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
6. Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement.
7. Leading and directing cross-functional project teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope.
8. Solving any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression and completion of the project.
9. Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with all stakeholders.
10. Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Solid understanding of the construction industry, including operations, financials, and project planning.
4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
6. Proficiency in contract management and understanding of legal requirements for construction projects.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of achieving positive outcomes.
8. Strong negotiation skills with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
9. Exceptional leadership abilities with a team-oriented mindset.
10. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
11. Proficient in project management software.
12. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
