Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who has a passion for construction, restoration, and mitigation, and who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, scheduling, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and contract management. This role requires a high level of expertise in using project management tools such as Xactimate.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Utilize project management skills to plan, schedule, and implement project tasks and milestones effectively.
• Make critical decisions that will impact the overall direction and success of the project.
• Solve complex problems and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors and suppliers, ensuring all terms are adhered to.
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and create contingency plans.
• Utilize Xactimate software for estimating and tracking project costs and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean project site.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in restoration and mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficient in using project management software, preferably Xactimate.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to manage contracts and understand legal and financial aspects of project management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A team player with strong leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered a plus.
