Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values client relationships, and has a passion for high-end finishes and tenant improvement work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead preconstruction planning, including budgets, schedules, subcontractor bidding, and scope definition.
Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and vendor/subcontractor management.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain project documentation, track budgets, and manage schedules in Procore or similar software.
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Anticipate potential challenges, proactively resolving issues to maintain timelines and budgets.
Mentor and lead project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
Proven success managing office tenant improvement and/or high-end interior finishes projects.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
Office TI, corporate interiors, and luxury finish work.
Local market knowledge and existing subcontractor relationships.
Ground-up experience a plus, but not required.
