Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
+ Take primary leadership of assigned projects, overseeing planning and execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
+ Evaluate project scope, develop objectives, and establish policies, procedures, and performance standards
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors
+ Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts
+ Oversee financial performance, including costs, billings, collections, and profitability goals
+ Manage procurement, logistics, labor, rental equipment, and other resources throughout the project lifecycle
+ Monitor and control construction activities through direct oversight of on-site superintendents
+ Ensure all permitting, compliance, health, and safety standards are met
+ Create and manage project schedules, schedules of values, and change orders
+ Supervise and mentor other Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
+ Manage risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
+ Ensure all documentation meets contract requirements and company standards
Qualifications -
+ 10 or more years of experience in electrical construction design, finance, and project management
+ Proven track record managing projects from $10,000 to $10M in value
+ Ability to mentor and lead project management staff
+ Strong understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
+ OSHA-30 certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
+ Demonstrated leadership with innovative, effective management techniques
+ Ability to meet all jobsite-specific access requirements with no restrictions
