We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from Industrial to commercial construction projects. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and has a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from pre-construction planning to completion.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
3. Reviewing and approving project designs and providing feedback on possible improvements.
4. Implementing effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and timely updates on project progress and performance.
5. Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
6. Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
7. Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects.
8. Assisting in the estimation process for projects, including labor, materials, and time requirements.
9. Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
10. Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Project Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
3. Proven experience in managing all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision.
7. Proficient in construction management software programs.
8. Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction and health and safety laws.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
10. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
11. Experience with estimation processes and tools.
