We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and dedicated Permanent Project Manager for our fast-growing construction company. This position plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation. As our Project Manager, you will work closely with various teams to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from initial conception and planning, through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
- Manage project budget, including risk allowance. Monitor costs on a weekly basis and ensure all aspects of the project are running according to budget.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Evaluate and assess the results of the project, and prepare detailed reports of project outcomes for senior management.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Foster positive and effective business relationships and ensure prompt resolution of queries and issues from clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in project management and/or construction operations, specifically in managing budgets and project financials.
- Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction law, contracts, and blueprints.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage diverse teams and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
