Project Managers are responsible for the full lifecycle of their projects, including bidding, negotiating, and overall project management. They work closely with key stakeholders such as company leadership, superintendents, project owners, architects, and engineers to ensure successful outcomes. Typically, a Project Manager oversees three to five projects simultaneously, with individual project values ranging from $1 million to $20 million. The annual portfolio expectation for this role is to manage a book of business totaling between $20 million and $35 million.




We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Project Manager for our rapidly growing Construction company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial construction who is looking to apply their expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, specifically in government public buildings, schools, fire houses construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from strategic planning and budgeting to quality control and risk management.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Develop and maintain project budgets, perform budget analysis, and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
3. Manage all aspects of risk, including identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
4. Supervise and coordinate site work activities and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
5. Handle contract management, including negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution.
6. Lead the bidding process for construction services, including preparation of bid documents, evaluation of bids, and contractor selection.
7. Track and respond to RFI (Requests for Information) in a timely manner.
8. Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and followed, maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
9. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address and overcome project challenges.
10. Utilize strategic planning skills to develop project plans and set project goals.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction management, specifically in ground-up and commercial construction projects.
2. Proven experience in risk management, problem solving, time management, decision making, strategic planning, quality control, budgeting, contract management, and site work.
3. Familiarity with the bidding process and construction services.
4. Ability to perform budget analysis and tracking RFI.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is required.
8. Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) are highly desirable.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
