Job Details

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring projects are completed within cost parameters.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of construction estimating and procurement to effectively manage resources and materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and other technical documents.
  • Manage the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.
  • Oversee commercial ground-up projects and building renovation and retrofit projects.
  • Implement strategic plans to ensure project performance and delivery.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety laws and regulations, including OSHA 10.
  • Utilize MS Project and Procore Construction Software to manage project schedules and documentation.
  • Work on both public and private projects, ensuring the highest standards are met in all areas.
  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, including architects, engineers, construction workers, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with environmental construction regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, contract management, cost control, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of safety management and OSHA 10 certification.
  • Proficient in construction estimating, procurement, and site management.
  • Experience with commercial ground-up projects and building renovation and retrofit.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
  • Experience with MS Project, Procore Construction Software, or equivalent project management software.
  • Experience with both public and private projects.
  • Knowledge of environmental construction regulations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy in work product.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
