We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Project Manager for our dynamic construction team. This position is integral to the successful execution of our construction projects, providing leadership, direction, and oversight throughout the entire construction process. This role is perfect for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to handle construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Allocating resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiating with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
6. Maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
7. Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking reports.
8. Developing and managing project schedules while ensuring deadlines are met.
9. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
10. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Project Manager, candidates must possess the following:

1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in project management and scheduling software.
3. Solid understanding of construction operations and processes.
4. Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
5. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment, with a particular emphasis on steel.
6. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.
7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
8. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Demonstrated understanding of construction laws and practices.
11. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
