Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of electrical construction projects from initial discovery and conceptual design through construction, completion, and post-construction phases.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, identifying potential variances and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead and coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, construction managers, contractors, and client representatives.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality and standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans.
- Manage contracts, negotiations, and relations with contractors and suppliers.
- Implement and manage quality control processes.
- Use Autodesk software for design and project management.
- Supervise all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing industrial and commercial electrical projects.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in using Autodesk and other project management software.
- Excellent understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in commercial glass and glass manufacturing.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Proven experience in safety management and site management.
