Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordinating, and executing all project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
2. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues that may arise.
3. Use Procore and other construction management software to track project progress, manage resources, and generate reports.
4. Collaborate with design teams to develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
5. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and take corrective action as needed.
6. Prepare and present project updates to senior management and other stakeholders, including budget updates, project timeline changes, and potential risks.
7. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts are fair and beneficial to the company.
8. Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing commercial and industrial construction projects.
4. Proven track record in general contracting and design build.
5. Proficient in using Procore and other construction management software.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when necessary.
8. Solid understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
