We are seeking a highly skilled Project Technician in the HVAC industry to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to showcase their skills in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of HVAC systems in commercial settings. The successful candidate will primarily work with Chillers, Boilers, and HVAC systems. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and promises a challenging yet rewarding work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and other related equipment in commercial settings.
2. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and equipment, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
5. Provide technical advice and support to clients, helping them understand system operations and maintenance procedures.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, equipment maintenance, and repair activities.
7. Stay updated on the latest HVAC industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
8. Ensure all installations and repairs are carried out in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a HVAC Technician in the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial installations.
2. Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, chillers, and boilers.
3. Comprehensive understanding of HVAC best practices and safety regulations.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
5. Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex HVAC issues to non-technical clients.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
9. HVAC certification or equivalent professional training is required.
10. Able to get Union membership.
