Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, including tax, real estate, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for all properties
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Coordinate and prepare tax returns for all properties
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Provide support to the property management team as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in property accounting
  • Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software programs
