Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties.
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
3. Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for each property.
4. Oversee lease administration, including the calculation of rent increases, tenant billings, and reconciliations.
5. Coordinate with property managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
6. Handle year-end audit processes and tax return preparation.
7. Utilize MRI and Yardi software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
8. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
9. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the Mortgage industry.
3. Proficiency in MRI and Yardi accounting software is a plus.
4. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and property operations.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. CPA certification is a plus.
