Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for companies on cash and accrual basis (portfolio of approximately 25-30 companies).
- Prepare journal entries as needed.
- Prepare wire transfers as needed.
- Prepare bank reconciliation, payroll, and tenant security reconciliations.
- To participate on AR and AP functions as needed.
- Participate in process of mortgage refinancing
- Prepare Miscellaneous analyses as required by owners and agents.
- Assist Controller with daily functions and specials projects.
- Insure timely and accurate payments of mortgage, insurance, and real estate taxes.
- Prepare Monthly management fee calculation and commission for the Brokers if requested.
- Prepare calculations of sales tax return as needed.
- Assist in preparation of annual budget.
- Prepare information and assist to auditors, then close the books for the year.
- Maintained Loan and Exchange accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related
- 2+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
- Knowledge of Skyline is a plus (company will be converting over to Yardi as of 2023).
- Advance knowledge of full accounting cycle in Yardi Voyager
- Proficiency in Excel
