Job Details
Responsibilities/Duties
Prepare, review, and analyze property financial statements and supporting schedules
Assist property bookkeepers with any accounting corrections
Meet monthly deadlines for property-level reporting
Monitor cash balances for properties
Prepare account reconciliations and adjust when necessary
Assist with the operational budgeting process
Oversee the process of invoices for payment by the property, including tracking and recording of lien releases, scheduling of inspections, etc.
Prepare draw requests for submission to lenders on construction projects
Review of costs to determine expense vs. capital classification
Track construction spending compared to the budget
Qualifications
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in multi-family property/real estate accounting
Initiative-taker and ability to work independently and with a strong work ethic
Detail-oriented and good analytical skills
Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written
Works well under strict deadlines
Ability to multi-task
Team player
