We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care, with a focus on outpatient psychiatry. As a Psych NP, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments for patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and therapy
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric/mental health
• Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice
