We are currently seeking a Permanent Psych Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic medical team in the healthcare industry. As a Psych Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health and behavioral disorders
• Prescribe and manage medications for patients
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing or corrections
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Current licensure and certification in the state of practice
