We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Permanent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role will focus on providing comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on adolescents and adults. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating expertise in behavioral health and psychiatric nursing. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients of all ages, with a focus on adolescents and adults.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapies.
3. Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, promoting understanding of mental health conditions and encouraging self-management.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in line with regulatory standards.
6. Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric nursing and incorporate new knowledge into patient care.
7. Advocate for the mental health needs of patients within the wider healthcare system, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and support.

Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
3. Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent.
4. A minimum of 1 years' experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on adolescent and adult care.
5. Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health, with the ability to manage a diverse range of mental health conditions.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
10. High level of compassion, empathy, and patience, with a dedication to providing patient-centered care.
