Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. This unique role involves providing psychiatric services to our staff, helping them maintain optimal mental health in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult psychiatry, with a focus on evaluations, assessments, med checks, and medication management. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Contract Psychiatrist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders among our staff.
2. Administering med checks regularly to monitor the mental health of our employees and identify any potential issues early.
3. Managing medication for employees, ensuring they are receiving the correct dosages and types of medication for their specific needs.
4. Providing therapeutic interventions as needed, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and other treatment methods.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans for our employees.
6. Educating staff about mental health, stress management, and healthy coping strategies.
7. Maintaining detailed records of patient history, diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
8. Staying updated on the latest advancements in psychiatry and incorporating new treatment methods as appropriate.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Contract Psychiatrist position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a psychiatry residency program.
2. Board certification in psychiatry.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in adult psychiatry.
4. Extensive experience with evaluations, assessments, med checks, and medication management.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and communicate effectively about sensitive topics.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed, evidence-based decisions.
7. Knowledge of the unique stressors and challenges faced by professionals in the finance industry is a plus.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics.
