Responsibilities:
Experience:
- Drive revenue from digital publisher partners to meet and exceed sales goals
- Source new publisher accounts using various sales strategies
- Contribute to publisher development initiatives
- Build relationships across publisher organizations (executives, sales teams, ad ops, research, product)
- Track and manage publisher acquisition pipeline and account activities
- Work closely with internal teams on sales strategy, techniques and execution.
- Manage all facets of the sales process from pre-sale to close, including ongoing sales consultation.
- Contribute to publisher retention and relationship management, in addition to account management, with the goal of ensuring high publisher satisfaction.
- Where required, be able to present company's offering in front of senior publisher representatives.
- Build and grow a sales pipeline of direct, mid-tier - premium digital publishers, pub networks and high trafficked entities
- Develop a clear understanding of each publisher’s business and its needs.
- Educate publishers on developments in the ecosystem and how company's product offering addresses the challenges they face.
Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience (preferably in publisher monetization/development)
- experience selling to digital publishers - publisher monetization or pub dev
- Experience negotiating with, managing, and/or selling to digital publishers
- An understanding of common ad-server implementations, programmatic ecosystem and advertising products
- Strong knowledge of Internet advertising models, ad optimization, audience trends and technologies Strong analytical ability and experience with CPM models
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic mindset
- Knowledge of the pre and post-sales process
- Existing relationships with mid size - large premium publishers (highly desirable)
- Previous experience in digital media with an in-depth understanding of the advertising landscape and publisher tech stack
- Exhibited in previous roles: analytical/strategic and problem solving, resourcefulness, and an ability to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
- A basis for execution with a strong drive and sense of urgency to get things done.
- Ability to work remotely while operating fully independently in managing your own business and proven track record meeting deadlines and exceeding quotas
