If so, we are seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's financial operations by managing our purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

As a Purchasing Clerk, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and overseeing all purchasing activities, including the procurement of goods and services for the company.
2. Ensuring all purchases adhere to company policies and budgetary restrictions.
3. Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms of contracts.
4. Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
5. Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
6. Coordinating with various departments to forecast future purchasing needs.
7. Regularly reviewing and updating the company's vendor database.
8. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports by providing relevant purchasing data.
9. Utilizing SAP to streamline and automate purchasing processes.
10. Resolving billing discrepancies and addressing any issues related to purchasing procedures.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy industry.
2. Proficiency in financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and billing.
3. Extensive experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
4. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
10. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
