Job Details
JOB SUMMARY:
The Purchasing Manager directs inventory control, shipping, receiving, and materials storage. Supports production planning and scheduling based on customer demand. Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries meet customer requirements and to maximize working capital. Ensures accuracy of the inventory system.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and guidance.
Manage material flow.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and guidance.
- Foster continuous improvements and best practices
- Maintain continuous engagement with all stakeholders (management, materials, and production)
- Coach, train, and develop stockroom, shipping and receiving personnel to ensure optimum performance, accountability, and continued skill development.
- Promote cooperation and collaboration across all departments.
- Conduct employee performance management.
Manage material flow.
- Place purchase orders for components as needed to support customer demand.
- Receive and process material according to system instructions.
- Create and kit shop orders according to production schedule.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to established goals.
