Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Purchasing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics manufacturing, purchasing, ordering materials, supply chain, ERP, MRP systems, quoteFx, VMI, JIT, continuous improvement, UPS, and FedEx. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and ordering materials and supplies.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that purchasing activities support production schedules and customer demand.
- Implement and maintain ERP and MRP systems to streamline purchasing processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Implement VMI and JIT programs to reduce inventory levels and improve cash flow.
- Continuously improve purchasing processes and procedures to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including UPS and FedEx shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems, quoteFx, VMI, and JIT programs.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
