Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all purchasing operations, including sourcing, negotiating, and procurement of goods and services.
2. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to increase supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Collaborate with other department managers to identify and secure necessary goods and services.
4. Maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the company receives the best prices and quality.
5. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products.
6. Conduct regular supplier analysis to optimize quality, cost, and delivery performance.
7. Implement new purchasing strategies and ensure the implementation of new sourcing projects.
8. Monitor and manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements.
9. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
10. Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) credential is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
4. Strong understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
6. Proven track record of successfully implementing purchasing strategies and managing contracts.
7. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing management software.
9. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.
10. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
