We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced tech services startup. Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a QA Engineer, your primary duties will involve:
1. Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
2. Reviewing system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)
3. Collaborating with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
4. Identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs throughout testing.
5. Identifying any potential problems that users might encounter.
6. Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
7. Conducting post-release/post-implementation testing.
8. Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
9. Monitoring debugging process results.
10. Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions.
11. Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the QA Engineer role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development and software quality assurance.
3. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
5. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
6. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
7. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
8. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
9. Proficiency in technical writing and ability to manage and document test cases.
10. Experience with API testing and Postman.
11. Proven work experience in software development.
12. Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
13. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
14. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
15. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
16. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
17. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.

19. Proficiency in technical writing and ability to manage and document test cases.
