Job Details

Location: Hybrid 3 days a week in office in Raleigh, NC

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help scale our data analytics and telephony platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong manual testing experience, and is excited about working with large-scale data and AI-driven applications.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements
  • Review software requirements and design documents to create effective test strategies
  • Build, execute, and maintain test plans based on acceptance criteria and requirements
  • Identify, document, and track software defects with clear steps for reproduction
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and cross-platform testing
  • Retest fixed defects and execute regression tests to ensure product reliability
  • Document test results in bug-tracking tools and communicate findings to the team
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support high-quality releases across web applications, APIs, and data-driven systems
  • Participate in quarterly in-person collaboration at company headquarters

What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of QA experience, with proven success in software testing
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications and working with SQL
  • Familiarity with Postman/Insomnia for API testing (or similar tools)
  • Experience with Kanban/Waterfall methodologies and Jira project management
  • Background in data science, machine learning, or NLP is strongly encouraged
  • Exposure to or interest in automated testing tools is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently when needed
