A bit about us:
This company is a fast growing SaaS start up focused on payment automation in the construction industry. Currently they have a small QA team of three individuals with the intention of growing that team to support their engineering and development operations.
This role will have a high level of autonomy and process implementation while collaborating with other engineering leaders in the organization. Great benefits day one, strong equity offered, and a fun collaborative remote work culture.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, manage our QA team and own product releases
Own releases, including QA, Release Management and working with the Product and Dev teams
Long term strategic planning to identify and mitigate risks ahead of time
Manage collaboration among departments to ensure we can achieve our quality goals and remove bottlenecks
Work with stakeholders to effectively plan testing & releases into our roadmaps
Identify opportunities where automation testing and continuous integration can add the most value in our release cycle
Produce reports on & monitor all aspects of QA based on data and the KPIs which measure our quality level
Constantly improve our QA processes to ensure we continually get better at releasing stable and high quality products
Highlight risks and issues during feature development to insure delivery of high quality releases on time and within scope
Define and own our quality and release standards, ensuring they are met for every release
Provide updates on QA & Release during our regular company meetings

Job Details
At least 3 years experience in a similar QA Manager role
Proven experience working on SaaS platforms
Experience managing and growing a multi-disciplined QA team, while driving improvements and team skills
Experience with SCRUM or similar agile methodology for sprint-based product development cycles using Jira
Practical experience with release management
Exceptionally good at communicating, at a team and company level
To be highly organized and methodical
Experience planning QA on a strategic level and thinking long term
Experience in organizing work and planning against complex timelines
Ability to grow and shrink the QA team in line with development cycles and requirements
Experience in Production or organizing work and complex timelines
Technical Expertise, especially around SaaS technology
