Job Details

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance function at our company. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, implementing and maintaining quality systems, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor and enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Quality Systems:

Establish and maintain comprehensive quality assurance systems in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Design and implement quality control processes, including testing protocols, inspection criteria, and documentation procedures.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

Stay up-to-date with relevant food safety and quality regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
Interface with regulatory agencies, conduct audits, and maintain necessary certifications.
Supplier and Vendor Management:

Evaluate and qualify suppliers and vendors based on quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
Monitor and audit suppliers to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Training and Development:

Provide training to employees on quality control processes and procedures.
Foster a culture of quality consciousness throughout the organization.
Continuous Improvement:

Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Quality Reporting and Documentation:

Generate regular reports on quality performance indicators and present findings to senior management.
Maintain accurate and organized records related to quality assurance activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
6+ years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry, with 1-2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and industry quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Proven track record in implementing and managing quality assurance systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
