Position Summary: The Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that quality procedures and inspections are being performed as required. This will be done through the creation of inspection plans, training, and reporting on corrective actions.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Work hands on with floor personnel for product quality issues and inspections
• Understanding of Customer expectations and translate into shop floor language
• Understanding of Customer expectations and translate into shop floor language
• Create corrective action reports and communicate to production team, customers, and other stakeholders
• Working with the team to continually improve the processes
• Perform failure analysis
• Provide training to quality & production personnel.
• Liaison with the sales team regarding product information
• Liaison with customers over quality issues & product information
• Occasional travel to customer sites
• Management of QA team, currently 1 direct report
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5+ years of industry experience in quality assurance / quality control
• Experience creating CARs / Corrective Action Reports
• Ability to communicate to all levels of production and customer
• Comfortable with occasional travel to customer sites
• ISO 9001
• Experience performing failure analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP
• Piping / Tubing industry experience
• Prior management / supervisory experience
