Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. This role involves a combination of manual testing and the development of automated end-to-end tests. You will collaborate closely with a distributed team of developers and testers to deliver high- quality products.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
· Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated end-to-end test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
· Create, maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
· Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using our bug tracking system (Azure DevOps).
· Collaborate eLectively with a team of on-premises and oL-shore testers to coordinate testing eLorts and ensure complete test coverage.
· Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand- ups, and retrospectives, providing input from a QA perspective.
· Work closely with stakeholder and developers to understand user stories and technical requirements.
· Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely aLect existing functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Proven experience in a QA testing role with a focus on web and mobile applications.
· Strong hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies and best practices.
· Demonstrated proficiency in creating and maintaining automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.
· Solid understanding of at least one programming language (Java/Typescript).
· Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (Azure DevOps).
· Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
· Experience with SQL Server and writing SQL queries as required to perform QA tasks
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work electively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
Additional Information
This resource will need to be onsite in Oklahoma City.
The assignment may be extended past 1 year.
