Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead and manage the Quality & Food Safety program across the manufacturing operation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Establish, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, and process controls to ensure product safety, function, and reliability.
- Direct the preparation, documentation, and execution of food safety and quality policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Manage and participate in audits, inspections, and product testing; serve as the lead for external audits (AIB or similar).
- Partner with Operations leadership to identify and resolve recurring quality or safety issues through corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to track performance, customer feedback, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns and develop solutions.
- Provide technical support for new product launches, process validations, and final acceptance activities.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and coach quality personnel; ensure a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain all required quality and food safety documentation.
- Support cost-effective operations while upholding strict quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a Technical field preferred; equivalent experience (8–10 years in food manufacturing, quality, or food safety leadership) may be considered.
- Strong background in manufacturing/production environments, preferably with experience in food, film extrusion, or packaging.
- Demonstrated success leading food safety programs, including AIB or comparable audits.
- Proven ability to manage teams, train staff, and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and quality management tools.
