Are you ready to take the next step in your Quality Control career? A well-established manufacturing company in the Madison, IN area is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join their New Projects department.

Do you have 3–5 years of experience in quality, engineering, or a related manufacturing field?

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide quality control support across multiple locations to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.

Lead and support new model launches with a focus on product quality.

Communicate across departments to align quality processes and standards.

Manage assigned projects from development to launch, including supplier-to-customer activities.

Conduct quality planning, reporting progress at key milestones.

Ensure "built-in" quality through design and process reviews, both internally and with suppliers.

Analyze past production and field concerns to improve future projects.

Perform audits and evaluations domestically and internationally (up to 25% travel).

Develop and maintain work instructions and procedures for the QA New Projects group.

Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Solid verbal and written communication.

Familiarity with steel manufacturing systems and processes.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing or systems like the Toyota Production System.

Understanding of statistical/analytical methods.

Quality certifications and APQP/project management experience are a plus.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or a related field.

3–5+ years of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with relevant education may be considered.
