We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an incredible opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all our products and services meet and exceed the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular quality control inspections using FARO Arm to ensure that all products adhere to the set specifications and standards.
2. Applying a strong understanding of machining processes in the assessment of product quality.
3. Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to identify any potential issues.
4. Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards in all our operations.
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement quality control procedures and policies.
6. Identifying and addressing any quality control issues promptly and effectively.
7. Preparing and presenting detailed quality control reports to the management team.
8. Training and guiding staff on quality control measures to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
9. Participating in the development of product specifications to ensure quality is maintained at all stages.
10. Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments and integrating best practices in our quality control processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Control Specialist role should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role in the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in using FARO Arm for quality control inspections.
4. A strong understanding of machining processes.
5. The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
6. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
10. A proactive and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently when required.
