Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process work, and final products, including complex machined parts and mechanical seals
Operate and maintain inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and 3D measurement or other portable measurement tools
Interpret detailed mechanical drawings and GD&T specifications to validate part geometry
Collaborate directly with machinists to resolve dimensional or process-related concerns
Drive root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive action efforts
Maintain accurate records: inspection logs, calibration files, non-conformance reports, and more
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and JCP quality standards
Support internal audits and external customer inspections as needed
