Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Identify and report any product or process deviations and take corrective actions to prevent non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in the investigation of customer complaints and product issues, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to quality control in the manufacturing industry.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and methods, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in the use of quality control equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant food safety regulations and standards, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000, would be an asset.
