Requirements
Nice to Haves
- Own product quality across the full lifecycle - from development to production and end-of-life
- Manage all quality-related customer communications including complaints, corrective actions, and follow-ups
- Lead APQP quality functions: MSA, PPAP, gage studies, capability studies, print reviews, etc.
- Ensure compliance with TS16949/ISO 9001 standards through document updates, user training, and audits
- Conduct and document internal QMS audits and support external 2nd party audits
- Champion continual improvement initiatives including scrap analysis, CI programs, and lean tools
- Support production by training staff in quality systems and methods
- Interface with customers for onsite visits, audits, launches, and issue resolution
- Maintain quality documentation and records in line with QMS requirements
Requirements
- Technical training in CMM, measurements, and SPC
- Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and make independent decisions
- Self-starter with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with quality documentation, audits, and continuous improvement practices
- Internal auditing experience (minimum 2 system audits/year required)
Nice to Haves
- Automotive manufacturing background
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes
- APQP and PPAP experience
- Customer-facing quality engineering experience
- Experience with metrology labs and external testing coordination
- Exposure to German manufacturing or multinational environments
