Job Details

  • Ensure all products meet customer and industry quality requirements through detailed inspections and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive robust manufacturing processes and improvements.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Inspect parts visually and ensure compliance before shipment.
  • Review routers and paperwork to confirm all processes are completed.
  • Prepare certificates of conformance and certification packages.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCAA) investigations and corrective actions.
  • Prepare PPAP and AS9102 packages in line with APQP guidelines.
  • Maintain adherence to aerospace, military, and automotive quality systems (AS9100, TS16949, NADCAP).
  • Assist in the development and application of Control Plans, FMEA, GD&T, and Design of Experiments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of quality engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or defense.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documents in English.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, ratios, percentages, and more.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and documents.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with coworkers and customers.
  • Previous metalcasting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
