Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in conducting internal audits.

Support external customer and regulatory audits (FAA, NADCAP).

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).

Review, track, and close audit findings and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements and customer-specific quality requirements.

Assist with supplier audits and vendor list evaluations.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Review and approve special process documentation (plating, coatings, NDT, shot peen, etc.).

Support quality training and awareness programs for shop floor and office personnel.

Qualifications – Needed
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field OR 5+ years in FAA/EASA regulated environment.

Basic understanding of QMS and auditing concepts.

Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA regulations).

Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and process discipline.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Prior internship/co-op or 1–2 years’ FAA/EASA experience; familiarity with special processes (NDT, coatings, heat treat); internal auditing experience; AS9100 Internal Auditor certification (training can be provided).
