As a Permanent Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role the company, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail. Your role will involve working closely with various teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to ensure that our manufacturing processes are up to par, and our products are of the highest quality. You will be responsible for conducting audits, overseeing processing, and ensuring that processes meet industry standards. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control systems that meet production requirements and customer expectations.
2. Conduct regular audits to ensure that our manufacturing processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
3. Oversee shot peen and paint processes, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
4. Collaborate with other teams to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
5. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.
6. Train and guide staff on new quality control processes and procedures.
7. Provide technical support to the production team and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
8. Maintain documentation of all quality control activities and processes.
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
10. Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are adhered to.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in shot peen, processing, paint, and audit.
3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of quality control systems and methodologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Proficient in using quality control software and other relevant tools.
8. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
10. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
11. Strong organizational and project management skills.
12. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
13. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to train and guide staff.
