A bit about us:
We produce a wide range of custom-designed parts to exact customer specifications, using technically advanced equipment and processes. We perform low to high volume turning. Including, multiple spindle turning, CNC turning, transfer machines, and Swiss type turning capabilities. Secondary's include, broaching, milling, spline rolling, thread rolling, hobbing, center and centerless grinding.

Job Details
Position: Quality Inspector
Shift: 6p-6a
The Inspector is responsible for facilitating the quality reviewing process for all company
products and upholding and ensuring standards are met throughout production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects products throughout various stages of the production cycle including initial setup, in process,
and final piece examination
Reviews and inspects orders returning from outside vendors to ensure upmost quality
Works interdepartmentally with machine operators, lead men, production supervisors, engineers, and
quality department to achieve tasks and improve efficacy
Utilizes internal self-awareness, knowing when to proactively enlist a more experienced co-worker to
get the job completed accurately and in a timely manner
Follows all necessary work instructions and procedures as required by company’s QMS (ISO)
Reports product quality updates to supervisor daily
Follows all established work instructions and standard operating procedures
Follows all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations
Performs all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
preferred but not required, 2-5 years of manufacturing, IQMS preferred but not required, and
metalworking experience preferred but not required
Computer Skills - Proficient personal computer skills including
electronic mail, record keeping, Microsoft Office, utilize in-house ERP system
Other Qualifications – Must have valid driver’s license, must be able to travel to customer or vendor
sites with the possibility of overnight stays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 10
percent of the time while operating a computer and performing office work. The individual needs to
occasionally move about inside the office and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery,
copy machine, fax machine, and computer printer. The individual is also required to frequently move about on
the shop floor to transport parts, access tools, equipment, parts, and other necessary items to complete the
work order. Most of the activities within the plant floor involve fine and gross manipulation of items. They must
be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The
employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The
individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and adjust as necessary
