Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
Document and report any discrepancies, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Perform in-process inspections during machine setups and throughout production runs to verify consistency and accuracy.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to evaluate dimensions and tolerances.
Conduct thorough inspections of finished products for conformity with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, highlighting non-conformities and recommending corrective actions.
Conduct functional and performance tests where applicable to ensure products meet operational expectations.
Analyze inspection and test data to identify trends, potential defects, and areas for process improvement.
Work closely with production teams, engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in cross-functional meetings focused on quality improvement, process optimization, and safety.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of quality checks, inspections, and test procedures for traceability and compliance.
Prepare and present reports on quality performance metrics and corrective action effectiveness to management.
Adhere to all company quality control standards, policies, and applicable industry regulations (e.g., ISO, TS).
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and insight into inspection processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in quality, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, document, and communicate defects clearly.
Skilled in the use of measurement and inspection tools, and comfortable with computer-based data entry and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
