Quality Manager - Brewing Operations

We are a brewing company who as its roots engrained in New Orleans. Dating back over 100 years ago we saw an opportunity to provide our community with a high quality beer. Throughout our history we have experienced some big challenges to our success. From events such as Prohibition to Hurricane Katrina, we have prevailed through extraordinary measures.

We are looking for a Quality Manager for our Brewing operations to oversee the analysis and QC process for our 100-Barrel brew house in addition to our separate small-batch operation for where we like to get creative.

We have brought in state of the art technology from the very beginning of the process to our all new canning line, we offer the best tools in the industry to meet the quality expectations of our consumers. We have multiple different in-house brews as well as several contracted beers that we brew and you will have the chance to own quality throughout our operation.

What will you do:

• Perform all aspects of microbiological testing on cellaring and packaged beer
• Perform all aspects of physical package QC to include examination of incoming packaging materials and seam testing
• Perform all aspects of raw material QC to include hops, yeast, malt, water and specialty items
• Create standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for testing methods
• Build and lead a skilled quality team to compliment and support our growth
• Maintain all analytical equipment in a reliable operational state
• Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Quality Metrics
