A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to manage the Process Engineering and Quality Assurance departments. In addition, they will act as the liaison between product design and Operations to seek product manufacturability improvements for our Paper & Pulp Services Division.

o Quality Manager (Who has 2 QA’s under them), Process Engineer
  • Will relocate the right person from anywhere in the surrounding area!
  • This location is Unionized, so experience working in a Union environment is great, but not required.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Improve the cost of quality by defining actionable KPI’s to prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Develop a quality culture of documented root cause resolution problem solving methodologies.
  • Implement a quality accountability structure within all departments.
  • Lead facility continuous improvement efforts using a multi-functional approach.
  • Work with design engineering to identify and reduce product cost adders.
  • Develop and implement the production planning tools.
  • Staff planning department to sustain and improve production planning methodology.
  • Staff process engineering department to support continuous improvement, problem solving, production support, and capital improvement planning.
  • Site Quality Assurance Program Management via shift QA/QC Technicians

Qualifications:
  • B.S. in engineering
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience in a process engineering or quality setting
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems
  • Six Sigma Black belt certification or agreeable to Black Belt training
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Problem solving mind set and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
  • ISO Certification experience is a plus
  • RCFA certification and or extensive experience is a plus
