We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager & SQF Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet and exceed industry standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting internal audits, and managing all aspects of food safety and sanitation. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and implementing HACCP plans.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager & SQF Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet and exceed industry standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting internal audits, and managing all aspects of food safety and sanitation. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and implementing HACCP plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control systems, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage all aspects of food safety, including allergen control, sanitation, and HACCP plans.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers, providing letters of guarantee, specifications, and certificates of analysis as required.
- Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all operations.
- Lead the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure continuous improvement in quality standards.
- Oversee the resolution of customer complaints related to product quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Continuously monitor and report on quality metrics, using data to drive improvements in product quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including FDA regulations and HACCP plans.
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits and managing quality control systems.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and allergen control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and liaise effectively with suppliers and customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
