Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and that our manufacturing procedures are compliant with industry regulations. This position plays a pivotal role in our company, as it is responsible for maintaining the integrity and reputation of our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the quality control and assurance strategies to ensure consistent and high-quality production outcomes.
2. Oversee all operational procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
3. Lead a team of Quality Control Analysts and Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
4. Liaise with internal departments such as production and engineering to implement quality control and assurance policies and procedures.
5. Conduct regular audits and inspections, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to management.
6. Act as the key point of contact for all quality-related inquiries and issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing processes, industry trends, and quality control and assurance techniques.
8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal manufacturing regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in implementing and managing quality control and assurance systems.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a range of audiences.
8. Proficient in the use of quality control and assurance software.
9. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) credentials are highly desirable.
